MATCHA WORKSHOP

GREEN TEA ESSENCE AT UJI, KYOTO

Matcha tea making was very inspirational from the very first step to the tasting. It was the most authentic program of my trip in Japan. We have ground the tea leaves with granite stone mills to reach the required 5-10 micron size tea powder.

Tencha is the type of matcha powder. Shielded cultivation technic & removal of sour parts take care of the harmonous flavor.
